Why this attitude?

The following conversation is very disturbing. I hear it all the time under different aspects, with different words, from different people, with the same meaning. A typical conversation among today’ youngsters:
- Man..I don’t have enough money to [fill-in-the-blank].
- What do you want to do?
- I want to have enough money.
- Why do you need money for. What are you going to do with it?
- I will buy clothes, go to disco and have fun.
- And you need money to have fun ?

Constantly when I’m walking on the streets I see people, kids, grown up, adults who are trying to look different. Why? Why do you want to be like someone else. Why do you want to erase yourself by being someone else, doing what others do might be fun sometimes but all the time?
You are slowly killing your identity, your uniqueness. By trying t o run away from yourself you are becoming someone else. I am not saying that Brat Pit or Jessica Alba aren’t good people. Perhaps they are, perhaps not. But does the whole world must do what they do, act like them, look like them? Where is the diversity in this. Imagine how wonderful the world could be if everyone were the same…wonderful? Think about it for a while.
Yes, I really do not understand these people, but this is very wrong behavior. I do not know where it is not I don`t read many of this blog. I like the idea, but why you stopped to write. So you lose your visitors, and May can do very good blog.
